5 day 4 night Amazon Extension to the Peru trip

NB if you have them bring your binoculars, we will have some spare to pass around but your own is worthwhile.

Day 1
Departure day for some on the main trip and a free day to explore wonderful Cusco for those coming with us to the Amazon.

Day 2
After breakfast we will transfer to the airport for  our short morning flight into the Amazon basin, we leave the cool mountain air for the steamy heat of the jungle.
On arrival we will be  met by the ground crew and transferred to the office where we can leave our bulky luggage as we only need a small bag for the next 3 days which can fit on the long boat as we speed down the river ways to our lodge in the Jungle.

Day 3-4
Full days of activities and wildlife spotting, as we explore the jungle.

Day 5
After breakfast today  it is time to say our goodbyes and speed back up the river towards civilization and our onward flights. 
Note you must book your onward flights for after 1pm to  give us the time to transfer back to the airport and pick up our larger bags at the office on the way.

NB We did this trip (which is run by a local operator) in 2022 and everyone totally loved it.

Starts from Cusco (CUZ) and finishes in Puerto Maldonado (PEM) on the 24th September.

5 Days 4 nights.
Book your onward flight anytime after 1pm on the 24th to give us time for the boat to transfer from the lodge.

• Extra night in Cusco to enjoy this  wonderful city.
• Transfer to the airport for the 1hr flight to PEM.
• 3 nights at our jungle  lodge on a full board basis.
• All river and wildlife activities with local guide and naturalist.
• Guided jungle  walk.
• Transfer back to the airport for onward flight.
