Leave your backpackers image of Kuta behind you! and forget the resort package holidays you find in the travel agent. Bali has it all, culture, beaches, great food, sun, atmospheric hotels and all with a Balinese smile. It is the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and stimulation for a 10 day break in the warmth, and this is why we run this trip almost every year, with people returning time after time. This trip is also great for solo travellers as for a very affordable single supplement, you can have a room on your own. Bali is also a good introduction to "Outside the Square" and how it feels and works before embarking on more challenging trips. This is a great time of year to visit Bali, kids are back in school and its escapes the worst of the winter. Days are sunny and warm and the rains have not started. OTS has found some charming local hotels, along with great restaurants, and things to do. There is freedom to explore on your own, or indulge at the beach, shopping, or walking. Surfing, snorkelling, cooking, or other courses are easy to arrange for those interested. Arrival day You can arrive anytime on this day and a driver will be waiting for you at the airport with your name on a board to transfer you to our first great hotel. Seminyak South (3 nights) We start our trip in Seminyak, a much nicer area to be than Kuta and just a few min walking distance from our hotel to the beach, restaurants, and evening Gay friendly bars. There is time for beach, shopping, and lying by the pool, and of course some wonderful food treats. Our secret retreat in the countryside (3 nights) Private, secluded, and utterly fabulous, Set in the cultural highlands. The staff will cook and our driver will take us exploring if you can bring yourself to leave for the day. We hike through the rice fields and get to really chill in the countryside. Ubud (3 nights) You will probably be craving a bit of city vibe by now and we will spend our last 3 nights in the heart of Ubud, and our charming, centrally located local hotel. Each day in Ubud I offer a walk through the rice paddies (I know some lovely ones) others can explore the art markets, of a morning cooking class, included is a walk through the rice paddies with lunch and a blissful massage. Day 12 (Departure day) Our holiday is almost at an end and its transfer time back to the airport for your flight home, or extend your trip with a few days hanging out at the beach, at our recommended gay owned and located gay friendly hotel for a few extra days. Or a resort of your choice. Most flights depart afternoon and evening and are an easy transfer from our hotel in Ubud. Add on to make 2 week holiday Seminyak North Our lovely 3* Gay owned hotel is 3 min walk to the beach, and lots of new sights to discover. Indonesia and Bali can be a ''full on'' experience for the uninitiated and it's easy to be overwhelmed when you first arrive, I will help you to find the best places right at the beginning, insuring you get to enjoy the best the island has to offer. As with all our trips you have to let go of the concept you're signing up for a tour, you're not, you're coming on an adventure , yes its a semi structured adventure with all the hard work done, but it's nevertheless a adventure. Things will go wrong some days, and changes adapted too, you will need your wits about you, and to expect to do some exploring on your own occasionally.

On the first day we take you to a safe and good exchange office to exchange cash, AUD,USD and NZD and GBP all easy to change. Credit cards are widely accepted. Private tour. I have sourced great local hotels with character and location, all will have WiFi a swimming pool and be walking distance to evening restaurants.
Our local hotels are lovely with a Bali flavour, and there is No single supplement. Couples or friends sharing will be upgraded to a bigger room when available.
